PARRAMATTA RIVERSIDE THEATRES

Theatre complex in Western Sydney.

We publicised their theatre subscription seasons and other selected productions (average twelve per year) for seven years from 1993 – 2000 whilst Heather Ramsay was General Manager.

 

THE AUSTRALIAN ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ART

Acting school based in Surry Hills.

From 2001 -2003 I wrote monthly press releases for this acting school in Surry Hills to publicise the course and attract new students.   

 

THE CIVIC HOTEL

Newly refurbished bar and theatre Cnr Goulburn and Pitt Sts

We handled publicity for their entertainment program during 2001 - shows included:  Paul Capsis, Monica Trapaga, Frank Bennett.

 

NEW THEATRE

Sydney’s oldest continuously running theatre (65 years!) in Newtown.

We publicised all their shows from 1993 - 2001.

 

CASULA POWERHOUSE ARTS CENTRE

We promoted various art exhibitions at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre during 1996 and 1997.

 

SYDNEY PHILHARMONIA CHOIRS

We co-ordinated publicity for their subscription season for four years until 1999.

 

THE PERFORMANCE SPACE

We co-ordinated publicity for all their productions during 1999 and 2000.

 

SYDNEY ART THEATRE

We co-ordinated publicity for their 1998 inaugural theatre season.

 

SYDNEY CONSERVATORIUM OF MUSIC

We co-ordinated publicity for their 1997 and 1998 concert series before their temporary move to Redfern.

 

SYMERON

We promoted the concert series for this contemporary music group through 1993 & 1994.

 

DJAMU GALLERY - AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM AT CUSTOMS HOUSE

Sydney’s premier exhibition space dedicated to indigenous and Pacific arts.

From December 1998 to April 2000, we undertook all public relations for Djamu Gallery involving permanent and temporary exhibitions in the newly refurbished Customs House at Circular Quay from when the gallery opened until it closed.

 

 BYRON MAPP GALLERY

Photographic gallery in the Argyle Stores, The Rocks.

We publicized two exhibitions in the gallery during 2001 until the gallery closed.

 

 MAREE MIZON GALLERY

Contemporary art gallery in Glenmore Rd, Paddington.

We publicised the inaugural exhibition in April, 2002 and half a dozen exhibitions since then.
